Applied Engineering Transwarp 3.6 Mhz accelerator card for Apple II

Have you used this card?
Would it work with an Apple II non-plus, allowing you to access 256K of memory? Does this require any associated software or is this plug & play.

How Apple II NTSC video works

I am working on a Windows application that will take a graphics file and convert it to Apple II graphics format.

Right now I'm just trying to understand how a certain pixel pattern will look in color NTSC. The Apple II reference manual tries to explain this, but it seems like it is missing out on many details.

ADTPro's only taking me halfway

Hey folks, hope you can shed some light on this for me.

I'm audio-bootstrapping a //e and initially had a lot of trouble even sending ProDOS. A new audio cable and this thread helped me get that squared away, but now I'm batting a big fat 0 at sending the ADTPro Audio Client. It literally fails every time.

I fail to see why the first transfer goes without a hitch and the second just never comes back to a prompt! Any tips?

Robotics on the Apple II

Any sources for where I can find a small robotic arm / mobile rover / turtle etc for the Apple II and the software and interfaces to run it?
I recall there used to be a RHINO kit in the 1980s but can't find even used examples. Thanks

Lots of Old Apple Stuff

Hey Everyone,

I have found a bunch of old mac stuff lying around and I'm looking to sell it. I tested everything to see what worked and it is all in good condition. I also looked around via google and found approximate pricing for each item. My question for you all is, what items that I own are rare and do you agree with my listed pricing? Please be honest and share what knowledge you have. I am no expert on these items but I did do some research.

Here is the list of what I have:

How do I create graphics for Apple II?

Is there a quick and easy way to create graphics (bitmapped) for the Apple II? I downloaded a program called ClipShop that seemed to be very useful, but I couldn't figure out how to use it. And yes, I read the manual Wink

I can import Apple II binary files, and copy them to the clipboard, edit in mspaint, get them back into ClipShop, but then I cannot get them back into an Apple binary...

Is there any other way? Perhaps using a good picture editor (which one?) on AppleWin?

Disk ][ PC interface update

I'm pretty exited about the progress I made during yesterdays snowstorm, so I figured I'd share it. Besides snow-blowing the driveway and flooding the skating rink, I was able to spend a lot of time working on the Disk ][ de-serializer. This is the function that reads the data coming off the disk.

Macintosh PLUS Promblems :O(

hey guys.. I got an old Mac PLUS here... I believe it has disk drive issues... When I bootup the Mac with a 3.5 floppy in it , it gives me a little icon in the middle of the screen , shows a sad face and below it, it says 0F0008? or something like that.. I take out the disk , reboot and it goes too the hard drive that is installed.. Plus the eject button does not work correctly :O( I have to use a paper clip to get the disk out! Does anyone know if replacing the disk drive 3.5 that is , is a difficult procedure? Or would it be easier to hook up an external 3.5 drive?
